Very Tasty Pork Roast

Submitted by Cindy Metherel LeGrier

Ingredients

1 ‘regular’ sized Pork Roast

1 Tbsp. 5 Spice

2 1/2 tsp. sesame oil

2 med. garlic cloves, crushed (I always use more - but I LOVE garlic)

2 Tbsp. orange marmalade

1/3 cup chicken broth

1 Tbsp. soy sauce

4 tsp. sesame ginger dressing

2 tbsp. orange marmalade

Directions

Preheat oven to 450.

In small bowl, mix 5 spice, 2 tsp sesame oil & garlic. Coat pork with mixture. Cook for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and cook about 1 hour & 15 minutes (or based on roast size). Remove from oven. Increase temperature to Broil. Coat pork with 2 Tbsp. marmalade. Broil until glaze browns, about 4 minutes. Remove and put on cutting board. Cover with foil for 10 minutes before cutting.

Sauce:

Put roasting pan over med. high heat. Add broth, soy sauce, dressing, 2 tsp. marmalade & 1/2 tsp. oil. Stir, heat through; serve over pork.
