Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

1 Can Whole Water Chestnuts

Soy Sauce


White Sugar


Cut water chestnuts in 4 to 6 pieces and soak in soy sauce half a day or over night.

Cut each bacon strip into 4 to 6 pieces (size them according to your water chestnut pieces).

Remove water chestnuts from sauce and roll in sugar and wrap with bacon.

Put a toothpick through bacon and water chestnut to secure the bacon and broil.

Turn to cook bacon on both sides.

These can be made ahead and kept in fridge until ready to broil.
