Taco Soup

My neighbor gave me this recipe. I like it so much, made a pot for my daughter, Sharon and family. She had to force herself to stop eating. Because I don't eat cheese, I ate the soup without it...still delicious. 

 

1- 1/12 lb lean ground beef 
onion, chopped
1 pkg taco seasonings
1 pkg dry Ranch seasonings
1 large can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can Rotel tomatoes, undrained
1 can black beans, undrained
1 can pinto beans, undrained

1 can small kidney beans, undrained
1 can whole kernel corn

1 cup of water (I rinse out cans)

 

1 8 oz. pkg. taco finely shredded cheese

Sour cream

Tortilla chips

 

In a large cooking pot, fry onions, then add the ground beef to the onions and brown.  Add all other ingredients, simmer for 45 minutes.

 

When serving, top with cheese, sour cream, and tortilla chips.
