Pineapple Salsa

Great with grilled or broiled fish, chicken, or pork.
Ingredients
2 c finely chopped fresh pineapple
1/2 c finely chopped onion
1/2 c finely chopped green onion
1/4 c finely chopped red bell pepper
1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh cilantro (I didn't have any and made the recipe without, it was still good)
1 T honey
Dash ground red pepper, cayenne or chipotle (we used a bit of both red pepper & cayenne)
2 tsp finely minced jalapeno pepper
Juice of 1 fresh lime, about 1 1/2 to 2 T (we also put in the lime zest too)
1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions
Combine all ingredients, cover and refrigerate for an hour or more to blend flavors.
Makes about 2 2/3 c
Serve with grilled or broiled fish, chicken or pork.
We used the pineapple salsa with shredded pork in a wrap. Delicious!
