Chocolate Chip Cookies
Submitted by Barb Jodoin
Since all my friends want my new chocolate chip cookie recipe, I thought it was time to share.
Ingredients
4½ c flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 c butter, softened
1½ c brown sugar, packed
½ c white sugar
2 - 3.4 oz (or 128g pkgs) vanilla instant pudding
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups milk chocolate chips
Directions
Sift flour and baking soda together.* Set aside.
Cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Beat in vanilla instant pudding. Stir in eggs and vanilla.
Blend in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Let chill for one hour.*
Bake at 350º for 10 - 12 minutes, just until the bottom edge starts to brown a bit.
Notes:
I use a mixer all the way thru, until I have to stir in or hand mix the chocolate chips.
* You have to sift and you have to chill. It makes the cookies lighter.
I always say – ‘Go Big or Go Home’ - so I use an ice cream scoop to make the cookies.
They are delicious!
