Fondue Appetizers

1 loaf French bread - cut in 1" cubes (they don't all end up square)

 

½ cup margarine

1-8oz. cream cheese

½ cup sharp cheese, cubed

½ tsp. garlic salt

 

Melt above ingredients in microwave in bowl big enough to dip the French bread.  Don't get hot.

 

egg whites – beaten

Add to cheese mixture

 

Put wax paper on cookie sheet.  Dip bread in cheese mixture and put on wax paper.  I use a fondue fork.  Dry 3 hours.  Freeze on cookie sheets and put in plastic bags.

 

When you want to use them, bake at 350º for 10 or 12 minutes.
