1 large head of cauliflower
Steam large head of cauliflower, let cool. When cooled, cut top 1/3 off, lift gently, core inside, leave florets together.
Pepper 1 Lg. Can mushrooms, drained 1 Tbsp. Chopped Garlic ½ cup white wine
Beat well and continue cooking for 1 to 1½ minutes on HIGH, or until thickened. Beat lightly, then add cheese and return to microwave for a minute or so. Remove and stir until cheese is melted. Then add 1 large can drained mushrooms, 1 tbsp. chopped garlic and 1/2 cup of white wine. Stir well.
Pour cheese sauce inside cauliflower, put cap back on and pour more sauce on top, sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Cook's notes: This is one of our favorite veggies for a family gathering. Sorry, can't say how many it will feed, as we never know the number of people who will be joining us. Doors are always open. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. |
