Puffed Wheat Cake

10 cups of puffed wheat cereal

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup corn syrup

1/4 cup margarine

2 tsp. cocoa

2 tsp. vanilla extract


Mix all ingredients except puffed wheat in a large cooking pot. Bring to a boil, stirring often. When it is at a steady boil, boil mixture for one minute.


Place puffed wheat cereal in a large bowl. Pour syrup over the cereal and stir to coat all cereal.


Pour into a greased 13 x 9 pan. Let cool. Cut into big pieces to eat.
